This herb is revered on the Balkans as the queen of spices.
As a spice it is used in most dishes, from vegetable stews to grill seasoning. It is most commonly combined with various meats.
Used in combination with salt, red and black pepper and fenudoux, it is present on every bulgarian, and for that matter – every balkan table.
But besides being a wonderful spice, this herb is used in the official medicine as a treat to digestive problems (it stimulates the stomach and intestents activity) and as a painkiller and sedative too. The traditional bulgarian medicine reccomends Chubritza in cases of high blood pressure, headache, dizziness, diabetes thirst, vomiting, nervous deseases, etc.
The recommended dosage for medicinal use is as follows:
– 2 spoonfuls of the herb soaked in 400 ml. boiling watter for an hour. Then it is consumed 3 times a day before meal, the measure is a wine glass.
